We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated maintenance person to come and join our team!

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated maintenance person to come and join our team in central Bristol and help us look after our buildings and tenants.

About the Role

As well as solid ‘all-round’ maintenance skills, the ideal candidate will have specialist skills in carpentry and general building knowledge.

A carpentry, electrical and/or plumbing qualification would be beneficial.

You must be happy to work both under instruction and independently, and will report to our Facilities Manager. Essential to this role is a can do attitude, initiative, flexibility and the ability to problem-solve.

The role includes, but is not limited to:

  • General maintenance
  • Changing lightbulbs
  • Small plumbing jobs
  • Fitting locks and hanging doors
  • Some small build projects (timber stud and metal track with osb board or plasterboard cladding)
  • Ability to calculate building materials and build timescales accurately
  • Small refurbishment and decoration works

Own tools and driving licence essential. Vehicle provided.

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Location: Bristol, with occasional travel to Cardiff
Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)

As soon as possible
