Manchester, it’s happening! This June we’re launching our first 30 ready-to-move into shipping container workspaces at Pollard Yard. We’re eager to make the move and can’t wait for you to take a look. Here, we’ve collated a bunch of other great things happening in, or around the city this summer and onwards.
Dot to Dot | 24 – 26 May
A huge line up of both established bands and newcomers, this is a great one that happens across, Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham. Bands including Crystal Fighters, Jordan Rakei and The Oreilles will play across venues in the three cities. Tickets available here.
This is a tiny weeny little space set up on King Street in Manchester’s city centre. Enjoy the sounds of summer for free on the 1st and 2nd June from 12pm – 8pm.
I mean… The Streets, Major Lazer, Mark Ronson, Mura Masa, Earl Sweatshirt and SOLANGE to name but a few, will be playing at this years Park Life at Heaton Park. Need we say more. Tickets here.
(Check out their website. It’s pretty spectacular).
It’s free, it’s central, it celebrates the diversity and beauty of Manchester and this is it’s 10th year. We’re most looking forward to the culinary delights the street food has to offer.
Running throughout the whole of July, Manchester Fringe Festival is a multi-venue arts festival which encourages participation from across Greater Manchester. This year is set to be their biggest yet. Get involved.
Another incredible line-up of world premieres and events at this year’s MIF. Skepta has hand-picked performers and DJs to create a dystopian experience, David Lynch takes over home and there’ll be a world premiere of The Nico Project, an immersive theatrical piece starring Maxine Peake. These are just a glimpse at what you can expect this year. See what’s on.
Celebrating LGBT+ life, Manchester Pride is a festival to be proud of. This year’s line up is strong, with Ariana Grande, Bananarama and Basement Jaxx hitting the stage.
