Mike Steadman, one of our great Meanwhile Creative tenants not only runs his own media company but is also chair of ‘Bristol Film’, a collaborative effort by several filmmakers organisations in Bristol to help people get their projects made. Bristol Film host’s events, which allow people to network and find out more about what Bristol has to offer.

An exciting event hosted by Bristol Film is to be held at Victoria Wells Holiday Park in Llanwrtyd Wells from the 24^th October til 8^th November. The purpose of the event is to allow filmmakers and other creatives to stay in an area of outstanding beauty to work on their projects as well as network in a holiday like environment.The camp is in the welsh valleys, within ten minutes walk of fields, rivers, lakes, woodland, caves and waterfalls. There’s also a small village with several country pubs and shops that could possibly used for filming locations.

The camp will also offer support services to help with projects including drones, GoPros, DSLR cameras, lighting, generators, off road cars, trailors, segways and sound recording equipment. The camp won’t just be all work and no play however, there will also be plenty of events and games going on to make the most of your down time.
