Meanwhile in Bristol: 10 Times People Got Bristol Tattooed

Some are good, some are bad, and some are downright ugly. Chances are, if you have seen it (or even heard it) in Bristol, someone has had it tattooed. We have rounded up ten of the most interesting occasions from Instagram. What do you think?

One

First up, as you may have anticipated, is the Bristol Suspension Bridge in tattoo form. Add a splash of bright colour and a few balloons and it doesn’t get much more Bristolian.

Two

Second is a cool modern interpretation of the Bristol Cranes by Iain Sellar. He has nailed the straight lines.

Three

A little like number one, a cartoon suspension bridge, a pop of colour and a few balloons seems a popular choice among Bristolian tattoo lovers.

Four

Though only a sketch at this stage, number four is a pretty snazzy tribute to Bristol’s Brunel.

Five

We challenge you to show more support for the Bristol Rovers than this individual…

Six

In at number six is a geometric impression of the bear from The Bear Pit.

Seven

Number seven is gurt lush.

Eight

Number eight probably seemed like a good ideal at the time.

Nine

Iain Sellar is back again with those perfectly straight lines and black and white tones for number nine. This time with an approach to the Suspension Bridge that’s a little bit different.

Ten

Whether you love or hate Bristol tattoos, there is no denying that this one is nothing short of a masterpiece. Spending that much time and money on a tattoo of the city is maximum dedication.
