Overview

Located to the south of Cardiff city-centre, Meanwhile House Cardiff provides over 70 affordable self-contained spaces ranging from 50-1000 square feet with communal spaces and a dedicated Meanwhile curator based onsite to help you settle in.

With artists, writers, graphic designers, filmmakers, theatre practitioners, therapists and sign writers (to name a few) calling it home, it is a bustling building with a strong sense of community.

More about the building

Meanwhile House Cardiff launched in September 2016, taking over a two storey office building that was built in the 1960s.

It is Meanwhile Creative’s first project outside of Bristol and the first ‘Meanwhile House’. The building was previously home to Community Service Volunteers but had been empty for around two years.

Access

6am - 11.45pm access, seven days a week.

Entry to the building is with an electronic key fob. Each studio has either a key code or a lock and key. The site has CCTV.

There is no lift up to the first floor.

Location

Meanwhile House Cardiff is located just to the south of Cardiff Central train station, near Brain's Brewery and Big Yellow Self Storage.

From Penarth Road take the turning between Big Yellow Storage and Kwik Fit - Curran Embankment. The building is around 100m down on the left-hand side in the industrial estate.
