1) Fonmon Castle

At Dyffryn Gardens you’ll find over 55 acres of Edwardian gardens, overlooked by an impressive mansion. If you’re a National Trust member you’ll be able to visit for free, otherwise its less than £10 per adult.
4) Castell Coch
If you’re heading to Cardiff via the M4, you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Castell Coch from the road. The Victorian castle is well worth a visit, and makes for a great family day out.
5) Cardiff Castle
