Meanwhile in Bristol: 10 Times Bristol Graffiti Shared Some Love

If you’ve so much as driven through Bristol, chances are you’ll have seen at least 37 pieces of graffiti. From Banksy to Pixel Pancho, El Mac to Zase, we have it all. But street art doesn’t have to be artistically brilliant to impress us (though of course this is nice). To celebrate Valentines day we’ve rounded up our favourite examples of amateurish heart-warming vandalism. With special thanks to @daisies_world of Instagram.

1) You don’t need planning permission to build castles in the sky.

2) Don’t forget to love yourself.

We’ve noticed this is becoming a running theme across the city. Someone is very keen to remind us.

3) Have a great day.

A simple but effective wish of a good day. Unfortunately we did witness this one being washed away by a cleaner. But we have plenty more to go around.

Have a great day! #bristol #brandonhillpark

4) You look nice.

We Bristolians are so nice we respond to each other with loving messages mid-vandalism.

5) Don’t forget: love yourself.

We told you it was a running theme here. This skip emphasises the importance of self love.

6) So nice they wrote it twice.

Who needs a mirror when you have the streets of Bristol?

Yes you do!  A photo posted by Daisie (@daisies_world) on

7) You look tired.

On a more somber note, this one reminds us not to overdo it.

8) When death comes, I want to have lived.

Here’s one to think about every day.

9) Don’t forget to love yourself.

Again, it wouldn’t be a running theme unless we told you a number of times. Do not forget it.
