Christina Garmasiy is an artist of glass. She comes from Ukraine, where she graduated from Lviv National Academy of Arts /2010.

She has been working in Bristol since 2018. The artist develops various directions and techniques in glass including jewellery, fusing, stained and blown art glass. She gained her first experience in England at Bristol Blue Glass as a volunteer.

The main direction that influenced the artist was pop art and Andy Warhol. Christina is also a member of the creative group of psychedelic art “TranceCarpathiArts”/Uzhgorod, Ukraine.

The inner world of the artist is a desire for nature, peace and harmony with the world around.

Garmasiyglass is exclusively author’s glass. Each work is unique and is not a stamped production.

“For me glass is a way of expression and thinking”- says the artist. It is also a continuation of family traditions because Christina’s grandfather was a glassblower.

She is currently working on completing a solo exhibition to support Ukraine following a full-scale invasion.
