36 King Street provides five stories of modern, functional office space with an attractive entranceway and ground floor. The building is next door to the newly renovated Bristol Old Vic theatre, situated on one of Bristol’s most historic streets complete with tudor houses, cobbles and plenty of pubs.

The organisations and start-up businesses calling the building home include a charity, app and software developers, a travel operator and retailer. Spaces range from 170-1200 square feet.

More about the building

In the early days of Meanwhile Creative we were busy providing fun, unusual space over at Bridewell and Pithay Studios. At the same time we were receiving more and more enquiries from more established small businesses, start-ups and charities who wanted flexible terms and affordable rates, but in a more conventional setting.

36 King Street is the result of our search for a city centre office-style building, purchased by Meanwhile Creative and launched in 2016.

24/7 access.

Key code entry to the building; studios and offices have a lock and key.

Lift between all floors.

King Street is instantly recognisable to anyone in Bristol. Its cobbles and Dickensian looking buildings make it a destination for tourists and locals alike.

The street borders grassy expanse Queen's Square, with Welsh Back is at one end of the street and the Harbourside at the other.
