Here at Meanwhile Creative we like our tenants to make their spaces personal. Whether that means painting the walls a bright colour, lining the shelves with plants or bringing in a pet, it’s encouraged. The lengths some folks have taken to make their offices noticeable extend far beyond this. From pirate ships to tree houses, slides to swings, we have collected the best crazy offices from around the globe.

1) Google, California

It’s become common knowledge that the folks at Google provide outrageous spaces for their employees. Their branch in California comes complete with mini basketball court and basketball themed work pods.

2) Hechtel-Eksel Treehouse Baumraum

In this luxury treehouse, you can hold functions, events and meetings. Its three floors are eco-friendly, and the building will help encourage businesses to think about the environment. Mostly, it’s just downright cool.

3) Davison Pirate ship

Inventionland is a creative campus for inventors. It’s 16 campuses feature different themes, including these pirate ship and racetrack offices. They deffinately win the award for closest resemblance to a theme park.

4) Epic campus

Epic are a software company based in Wisconsin. They are based in a huge campus that could easily be mistaken for the metro or a castle, depending on which room you’re walking through.

5) Pixar Headquarters

Having seen Pixar’s films, we would expect nothing less from their headquarters in California. Gigantic statues of some of their greatest characters are scattered around campus, including their famous intro lamp, Luxo Jr.

6) Google, Zurich

  Just in case you weren’t already convinced that Google offices know no limits, here is a photo of their Zurich branch.

7) Github, San Francisco

  In Github, San Francisco, meetings take place in a leisurely picnic style. Complete with grass, fairy lights and deck chairs.

8) Diesel Headquarters

Diesel have no excuse to ignore style. Their headquarters in Italy make sure that’s known. Employees can relax on generously sized corner sofas under a giant eco wall.

9) Peer 1 Hosting

You wouldn’t be alone if you felt that the UK office scene has been a bit of a let down thus far. But fear not, because Peer 1 Hosting in Southhampton have upped our game. Their playground style office comes complete with log cabin and slide.

10) Amazon HQ, Seattle
